The commemoration of the Buddha Year 2600

It will be fully 2600 years since the day of the Buddha's Enlightenment on the Full-moon day of Kason, 1373 BE, the date falling in May 2011 CE (45 years of Buddhahood added to the Buddha Sāsanā Year of 2555 counted from the year of Mahā Parinibbāna).

A great many people and other beings have found the true Dhamma in those centuries and millennia. It is important that, as one in a sugati bhumi and to make life worthy of living, one should like to be one amongst those saintly people. With hard work, we can make life worth living and gain peace that would be applicable to all personal, communal, national and international aspirations.

This idea is cause for me to revere and usher in the Year 2600 by publishing Dhamma books and posters as well as giving Dhamma talks, with blessing and counsel from venerable bhikkhus and kindly scholars, hopefully aiming to inspire the public in their interest in and reverence for the Buddha Dhamma,

   Dhamma Books

Illustrated Pathāna
Pathāna is the bastion of the Buddhist Teaching for its last defense from being lost in oblivion due to lax adherence. It is composed of 24 paccayas, with 36 illustrations in colour.

Sotāpana, the kind of life to live
is about vicissitudes of life and how to cut down on lobha, dosa, moha, māna and so on so as to shut the doors on the 4 apāya bhumis and to lead a life worthy of living.

The 28 Buddhas
contains brief descriptions of the 28 Buddhas that appeared during the period of 4 asanches and a hundred-thousand world cycles.

The Wish for Sotāpana
should be a wish for everyone, requiring hard work for its fulfillment as it is the purpose of human life that is hard to come by.
